Hi there, Chuck.
I hope the trip was a huge success, that you had lots of fun and laughter, and didn't put on toooo much weight.  ;)

I'm off on a little trip tomorrow.
Just business, but 'a change is as good as a holiday', as the saying goes.  :)

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Happy Hump Day!

;D

Having a luncheon at work today, my immediate supervisor has gotten another job, and Friday will be her last day with us.  I'm going to miss her, she was a great person to report to.

Today will be a "pot luck" lunch, and everyone is bringing something different to have today.  I made meatballs and sauce.  I know we have stuffed shells, lasagne, macaroni salad, potato salad, lunch meats, cheese and crackers, green salad, chilli, soup, and other things.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

It's Friday, and payday!  :)

Hiya Rob and BBT!  Hope you both are well!

My car doesn't smell like food, and for that I'm thankful!   As for the food and it being irresistible, it was, and I gave in to temptation, but that's ok.....I'm back on the wagon and exercising, so I'm sure there was no real damage.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Productive weekend so far.....

Shopped for 2 new pairs of shoes and 9 new pairs of socks, got the car washed, haircut, run in the park, and got my old phone upgraded to a new Blackberry Bold 9650.

;D

The first thing I did was download "The Wings" as a ringtone to it.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Shopped for 2 new pairs of shoes and 9 new pairs of socks, got the car washed, haircut, run in the park, and got my old phone upgraded to a new Blackberry Bold 9650.

I just counted - I possess 14 pairs of cotton socks and 5 pairs of woollen socks in total and they are all black. I usually buy a couple of new pairs at the sales each year.  I bought a new pair of casual shoes at Easter because the pair I bought in Washington in 2007 were coming unstitched. So I have just one serviceable pair.  I have one pair of good shoes probably bought about 3 years ago and I splurged on a good pair of walking boots when In San Francisco last month. I threw out a pair when I left Australia - they were about 15 years old and had lost all their tread.  I bought a cheap pair here in NZ but they leaked and I posted them home from Ottawa so that I would have room in my luggage for the new pair I intended to buy in SF.
I also bought 3 shirts and a jumper in San Francisco because the Aussie dollar is so good but I felt ill spending all that money however that means I will not need to shop for clothes for another year or so.
The menswear industry would not survive if everyone was like me just as well they have you.  ;D
