Ladies, thanks so much for the answers.

;D

I'll try to explain why I wanted to know, but you'll need to watch the videos to see.

My favorite type of music back in the 80s was freestyle, a blend of pop with Latin sounding music.  One of the groups I listened to was a girl group called Sweet Sensation.  They had 4 Top 40 hits, this was one of them, "Sincerely Yours".

I was searching on YouTube the other night, and I found this video.  LOL

I  was always under the impression that freestyle was more of an American thing, I didn't think that it crossed the pond to other countries, so I was rather surprised to see this European band in 2010 performing a 1989 American freestyle hit.  I wonder how they even heard it in the first place.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!  The weekend is here!

I'll actually be going into work for a little bit today.....just to get caught up on stuff that I need to get out of my way.  Later will be dinner with friends, and then I have to bake cookies for a White Elephant Party on Sunday.

;D

You made me look up 'White Elephant Party'. Sounds like lots of fun, with the right people at least. I've never heard of anything like this before.

Well, there you go, I knew she must have got popular for some reason.....I'm one of the few Aussies that have not watched Neighbours..........not that I dont like some soaps.....does anyone over there watch Home and Away.....now that, I watch religiously....in fact, now its off the air for the Christmas break, left us with half a dozen cliff hangers, and I have absolutely no interest in watching anything else on TV at 7pm on week nights.

I used to watch H&A religiously but havent in a few years puerly because of the time its on - 5pm (it used to be 6.30pm) - H&A is as popular as neighbours over here. The storyline is to do with the death and funeral of a baby at the moment so not sure how far behind Australia that is.. the last time I watched properly Sally was still in it and her brother had just arrived on the scene.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Busy busy weekend!  Shopping, dinner with friends, White Elephant Party, and back to work today!  I need more sleep!

The mailman is here because today I'm starting to mail out my Christmas cards!  I'm soooo late this year, usually I've got a bunch of them started, but not this year!

Not sure what the hold-up was, but every time I tried to do the cards, something got in my way and I wasn't able to!

Today is December 10th.  Yesterday was the anniversary of the release of Brokeback.

Yup, it's bowling night once again!

I got some extra sleep today, because I forgot to set my alarm!  LOL

Well, the morning was rushed, but I got to work on time, so that's all that matters.

How is everyone doing??

Yes, I made a slight change to my blog for this post.     I figured it may get some more notice this way, perhaps from Sophia, Chrissi and/or Monika.

Can anyone tell me who/what notäwürger seewen is?

And no smartass answers like "it's a band!"  LOL  I can see/hear that!  What country are they from, and is there any set way they pick their music?

Must be German. There's ompa-ompa in it - that automatically qualifies it as German!  ;D
