Hiya BetterMost friends.

So, this song was being discussed last night on Facebook, and I have to say.....don't get it.  ???

I like the music, but the lyrics are just......odd.  Who decided to have this type of party?  Why is it called a "kiki"?  Apparently this song is considered a big hit, but I've never heard it at any club or on any radio station.

I did see it performed on Glee as a "mash-up" with Turkey Lurkey Time on their Thanksgiving episode.

I love both portraits!

Yes, Nick is really great with a camera!

Looking forward to skyping with you, Chuckie!   :-*

Nick has quite an eye! You both look fabulous!

I like Paul's better than mine.  ;D  Yes, Nick is great with a camera!  He occasionally posts his pics that he takes on DCF in our "Lens" thread, he never fails to get great shots.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hiya BetterMost friends.

I LOVE GRUMPY CAT!     Imagine going through life with that expression stuck on your face?

Yesterday was a good day at work, my big boss and three of the people I report to were out on a trip to D.C., and they won't be back until Monday!  ;D

So that means today should be good too!  ;D

I'm getting caught up on stuff, and feel like my head is above water, which hasn't happened too often here lately.

Well, it turns out Skype was one of the programs included on my new computer, so I've activated it as of last night.  ;D

Hiya BetterMost friends.

So how is everyone doing this Saturday?

I slept in, had a light lunch, catching up on all the forums and Facebook, and figure skating is on the TV.

All in all, I'm happy with this Saturday.

Hiya BetterMost friends.

I won't be watching, but I know most people will.

Your laugh for the day.  Mom & Dad just got home, feeling perplexed.  They had gone out and intended on coming home with lunch.  Mom said she had called Angelos, and voicemail picked up, so she left a message with the order.   They get to Angelos, and the men at the counter tell them they don't have voicemail.  Mom says on the voicmail the voice said "Hi, this is Angelo, leave a message."   Turns out mom had taken the number to Angelos applicane repair, and not the pizza place.

*shakes head*

I'd like to see the look on the appliance guy's face when he hears that message.

Sounds like a nice relaxing Saturday!

It was, thanks!

;D
I have some friends, mainly ladies of a certain age who do not want to create their own messages for their answer machines and leave the manufactured one that comes with the phone. I find it disconcerting to ring a Kiwi lady in her 60's and have to leave a message after hearing the voice of a young american male.  ::)

Dont you just love Mums and the things they do that make our eyes roll.......

I know I often shook my head at some of the things my mum did or said.......
BUT.....now I see my kids doing the same thing when I do something silly....
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

Hiya BetterMost friends.

The office is very quiet today, and I hope it stays that way!

I didn't watch the superbowl yesterday, or the half time show, but I hear that Beyoncé caused a small bit of a stir yesterday.

I posted about it here:

http://bettermost.net/forum/index.php/topic,50346.msg642960/topicseen.html#msg642960

I'm starting a new exercise program today, something I ordered off of the TV, a DVD.  Just a little something to help change up the routine.

;D

Oh, that's funny!  Yes, I've done that too, I'll call a friend and hear the voice of someone of the opposite sex, and for a second I think I've dialed the wrong number.

LOL

I'm sure my time will come as well, people will start rolling their eyes at me, if they don't already!
