My brothers and sister-in-law will be around on Saturday to help me move, so that will be fun,

Are you sure you don't need me around to help you carry all your pearls?
They could easily become too much for your brother and s-i-l, you know.

You know I'd love to help you!

Chucky, I can see from the picture, whats wrong with your car......the dam steering wheel is missing......

I think you'll find it on the left side of the car. Which is, of course, the right side for a steering wheel!  ;)  ;D

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Hiya BetterMost friends.

I picked up the car after work, it was only $300.00, so not bad at all, it was an exhaust system issue.  The car is sounding much better today.

I walked around the office today and found a bunch of unused boxes that I am taking to pack stuff up in, move will start on Satruday morning.  ;D

Bowling tonight, here's hoping it goes as well as last week went.  ;D

WHO'S UPSIDE DOWN.........

Ok, this whole exchange (especially the picture) made me wonder if anyone ever asks if people are living upside down.  LOL.  I decided to Google, and sure enough, you'll find tons of questions from people asking if people in Australia are living "upside down!"

Why don't people in Australia feel like there upside down?  (yes, it's the wrong "there"...cut & paste, and gives you an idea of the person asking the question)

This was the best answer, in my opinion:

Because gravity doesn't pull youdown, it pulls you towards the earth.

if you walked a long way down your street (a VERY long way, to the other end of your country.) would you suddenly be walking diagonally? or on your thighs? no. because you are not being pulled towards the bottom of the earth, but to the center. it's quite hard to explain to someone who doesn't already know. We (yes, we, I'm Australian) don't feel upside-down because as you come to our side of the world, the direction your feet face rotates so that your feet always face the center of the earth.

And in fact, you did make up the north is up and south is down, because whoever said north was up? you could draw a map with south on top of the map and it would be just as accurate.

You know, I never knew that people were curious as to whether we fall over because they think we live upside down..... ::) ::)

I know they refer to us as "down under", but I thought that was cause we are at the bottom of the map...its really funny...

But then again, I grew up watching American shows like Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, The Nelsons and Gidget ...and I remember thinking that all fathers in America wore a suit around the house....... :o :o...especially odd, cause my dad never even owned one........

Hiya BetterMost friends.

Can you imagine seeing this coming at you?  LOL   I want to know how long it took him to do that, or have it done!

Once again, in my cube and catching up with work.  Hope that everyone is doing well!

No real new news to share, and I assume I won't be around much this weekend, as I'll be moving and unpacking.

Update to my "striking out" part of the blog for last night.   :-\
