Hello Bettermost friends!




So how is everyone this Saturday?

I'm just relaxing at home after a walk.  I'm thinking a nap is in order  (:laugh:) and then get some chores done around here......sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

after a few weeks of being busy, I was able to walk around again today, and decided to walk through the cemetery again and take notice of some of the ornate stones.  Much to my surprise, I came across the stone of legendary jazz singer "Sassy" Sarah Vaughan.

I didn't take this pic, I found it online, but this is the stone that marks her grave.




I certainly never expected to see her stone there.

Keeping the walking man, as I went for a walk first thing this morning.   ;D

Weekend was good, but (as always) too fast.

As of Thursday night my superviser is on a 3 1/2 week vacation to Spain, I'll have to do her reports and such while she's away.

Hello Bettermost friends!




We're having a heat wave!   A tropical heat wave!

It's not going below 95 for the rest of the week, ugh.  Tomorrow will be 100.  :o

When I left the apartment today I left the blinds closed, and the drapes pulled, the air was able to leave it about 65 degrees, which is comfortable.  The temp inside has gone up a bit, but that's because it's sunset, so the sun is beating on my windows, and I cooked dinner.

Work is getting slower, so I'm happy about that, it matches for summer.  ;D
