Hiya BetterMost friends.






Evening everyone!

Just got home from my parents' place for Father's Day.   Everyone made it, and dad got to hold his great grandson on Father's Day.  ;D

We all went out to a BBQ place for a late lunch, and then back to Mom and Dad's for Ice cream cake.

After they left, I finished my laundry, and now I'm home, the evening is basically mine.   ;D

How is everyone doing now?

We had a bowling banquet last night, and I ended up winning $200.00.  :)

It was in a catering hall, we had games, raffles, a DJ and a catered meal.  It was really a lot of fun.

Otherwise, things are status quo.  Trenton continues to get bigger, his mom (Shana) just went back to work this week.  Mom and dad are preparing for having the month of August off from their jobs.

Nothing new here under the sun. We have yet another public holiday today and thanks to a bridge tomorrow, it's a four day weekend for most people. Not for me though, but it's the only day of this week I work, so I'm not complaining.

Ok, the warning sounds dire, but the pic just kills me!

another busy day at work, and I'm glad it's over!   Tomorrow is Friday......dinner in NYC, and the weekend should be a quiet one.  :)

That's another reason that I haven't retired, number 1 being money, and then I wouldn't be able to really love my
 days off! ;D
Nothing much for me this weekend besides a girlfriends birthday dinner and as people are away, may only be 3 of us.

Yup, summer solstice, longest day of the year! 

Meeting up with Brokies is always a good time, Friday night's dinner was in NYC at Ovest with Brian (our current Brokie-on-the-road) and Meryl.  I picked Ovest as I remember having dinner there and it was a nice, quiet place.  It now seems to have become a bit of a 'hot-spot' so it was louder than the last time we were there.   Oh well.

There's a new attraction coming into my life....that I'm a bit puzzled by.   :laugh:  I'm suddenly finding myself very interested in all things pagan.  I'm not sure why, but it seems very strange to me.

I'm satisfying it by watching my Charmed DVDs.   :laugh:
