Hello Bettermost friends!

Well, today was a crazy-ass day!

I was non-stop from 7am until 6pm.  I usually leave at 4, but stayed two hours extra, so I could get stuff done, and I still didn't finish what I needed to.  I'll be going in early tomorrow, and staying late tomorrow as well.  I'll be leaving for a weekend trip, not coming back until Tuesday at one point, so I have to have everything done by Friday.  I'm trying to leave at 3:00 on Friday.  *fingers crossed*

Hopefully, in early tomorrow, out late, and in early on Friday will give me time to finish everything.

Oh, gosh. I hope that doesn't mean your mother grew up feeling that she wasn't wanted.

I'm not sure how mom felt growning up, her parents were definitely not candidates for "parent of the year".  I do know that she and dad made sure that their kids didn't go through what they did.

There's something I don't quite understand here. You're saying (correct me if I'm wrong) that it's better not to have children because if you do, you or your family members might have to attend some funerals one day?

Hello Bettermost friends!

Well, today was another crazy-ass day!

Yesterday I worked from 7am to 6pm.  Today I worked from 7am to almost 7PM.    I've never done a 12 hour day at the bank before.  And it all still wasn't done.

However, (and it should be in all-caps) I got past the hump, so to speak.  The most time consuming projects are officially done, and if I get to work promptly and hit the ground running, I should be albe to leave early on Friday.

Even if I don't get it done, I'll probably leave early anyway!    I've done my time this week!!!

I was not saying it, nor was my mom.  It was something my grandmother said to my mother.  She'd never have to suffer the grief of losing a sibling, as she is an only child.

Hello Bettermost friends!

Yeah, that's how I felt today, all day!

I'm thinking I may go to bed earlier today, just because. 

Sometimes I wonder if vacations, no matter how brief, are really worth it.  By the time you're done and go back to work, you're tired. 

That being said, it was a great trip to P-Town.  Had a blast, did a lot of shopping, ate great food, had some drinks, bonfire on the beach......  it's all good!
