Well, we had 6 new inches of snow yesterday for the first day of spring.  What fun!  LOL  :laugh:

Got up early, did some shopping, and cleaned the apartment.  Now I think I'll take a nap.

Brian, I didn't even notice that.  Had I, I would've questioned in my head about it too.  In America, when discussing grade point averages, it ranges from 0.0 (fail) to 6.0 (A+)

Hello Bettermost friends!




Easy like a Sunday morning.   I got to my parents' place, had lunch, did laundry, and now I'm back home, catching up on stuff online.  Had a window open before, but only for a few minutes, still too cold to have the air coming in that way.   Perhaps in a few weeks I'll be able to have fresh air in the place.

I'm also contemplating a way to display my Madonna LPs in the living room.

I still can't quite believe it myself!

There are still a couple of months left, but he's passed every test until now, so I'm pretty sure he'll pass the last ones too.

Hannah also wants to study Medicine. Her Abitur grade is very good with 1.6, but still no guarantee she will get a university place for Medicine for the coming semester (grades in Germany range from 1.0 to 6.0 with 1.0 being the best). Hannah really has a super grade!

Hope she gets admitted, but if she feels pretty sure she'll get in eventually, it may not be the big catasrophe if she doesn't right away.
My son spent a couple of years working,  travelling and living abroad before he tried for the university.
I really saw him mature during those years, so I think it was time well spent, lots of experience from various aspects of life.
