I think repeating special rounds occassionally is fine, especially well received special rounds.  You could also have a round for each genre from Action to Westerns.  And a round dedicated just to silent film, one just to animation, one for shorts, documentaries, biographies, cartoons ... how about mini series and made for TV movies

Oh and I think there is a big difference between a favorite film and Guilty Pleasure... GP's are usually films so cheesy or so bad they're good at least to us.  JMO

There's a slight difference.  Guilty pleasures are movies that you feel guilty about enjoying.  Usually the film is mediocre to bad or there's something about it that makes you hesitate to admit liking.  I think personal favourites would include guilt-free films.  For example for me a guilty pleasure would include:  Cruising, Endless Love & Into the Blue, films that might be difficult to defend.  While personal favourites include:  Gattaca, Coma & Rope, all fairly well received films.  Of course it gets blurred with films like Gerry & Apocalypto, should I feel guilty about liking those? 

 Would people be okay with repeating a special round?

Please remember that the goal is to play unplayed movies. As I was updating the archive, there were two movies in the last round that had been previously played. Since I didn't pick them up during the round, I'm going to let them stand. But I'd appreciate it if everyone would check the archive to verify that a movie is new to the game.

Edited to add: If you pick up on a movie that is missing from the archive, please let me know. I check and double check but I have had a few slip ups! Thanks to everyone for your help.

All great ideas, Dot!  I'd like to add a round for films starring or featuring animals and also films starring or featuring actors who first made their mark in other fields, such as television, pop music, opera, sports or the military.

BTW, those "Cheek to Cheek" subtitles were Portuguese.  Love that song.

From IMDb:  This lively romp is loads of fun with lots of snappy pre-code dialogue, husband hiding in closets, wife trying to win her man back via negligees and the old "dropping the soap on the floor" bathtub trick, plus all-knowing valet and butler, and women in slinky dresses and fur collars. I liked Edward Everett Horton in this, playing pretty much the exact same guy he always plays, plus Guy Kibbee is very amusing in a small, but memorable part, as the Justice of the Peace. Fast-paced and enjoyable film.
