I'll take that as a compliment, Marie!  and I am glad you are rereading too, it gives me an incentive to keep editing away at the stories... it is SUCH a big job!

SPOILERS

OMG is right.  And I'll add an "OH NO!"  I feel so sorry for Pam - and for Colson.  I just read the chapter of "A Second Chance" where Colson has to physically restrain Ellery when he went ballistic and I'm thinking of Colson's reaction upon finding out who the perpetrator is.  Predictable you ain't, Louise!

Thanks,
Marie

Yes Marie I,m wondering about Colsons reaction too, when he finds out who it is. *wonders who it could be*
I should think the entire sherrifs department will have to restrain him when he finds out. We know what his temper is like, expecially when someone hurts one of his girls. I shall be chewing my fingernails until the morning now.
Louise can,t you take the next month off to finish this? Only it isn,t doing our stress levels any good, and lets face it, "our boys" are FAR more important, not to mention interesting than boring old work.   ;)

Thinking about Ellery being restrained by Colson, made me have a very naughty thought indeed, about Ellery(Hugh).
I quite often drool of pics of Hugh(on my pc) and on film, especially Van Helsing(it,s those thighs in the loin cloth that does it) ;) and my poor daughter  gets SICK of me going on about him, she says,............."mum thats gross"!!! I think sometimes it,s a bit TOO much information for a 13 year old lol.
Of course I blame Louise entirely. I mean if she hadn,t written such stories I,d NEVER think such rude thoughts...*coughs*. I WAS  good girl, honest I was.

and chapter 58, written as soon as possible!

And we appreciate it, Louise!

SPOILERS

Ellery was hanging up when he heard a crashing sound downstairs. “Uh oh.”

Oh my.  Poor Colson must be devastated.  I'm so glad he'll have Ellery by his side.

But what's really amazing, Louise, is how you are able to take a chapter that deals with AIDS and rape and still give us a bit of comic relief.

“Sure, go ahead go ahead – oh, Phil Donahue, I like him. Nice square jaw.”

Gotta love Wayne's resilience - nothing stops him, does it?

Now, get back to Colson, Ellery!

Thanks, Louise!

Chapter 58

Acckk!! I have been so bogged down in RL crap I have been behind in the important things in life-like slash & forums. ;) Well-now Louise has rendered me speechless with this latest twist, so all I can say is "Help-I am dangling from your cliffhanger by my fingernails!! Have mercy woman!!"

On another note, I am woefully behind on the re-writes but that actually makes me happy, because I can read them in big tasty chunks (my friends page has me drooling like Pavlov's dogs whenever I refresh it lately!)

Ellery-go get all sharp & breakable objects away from your man pronto!!!
You're the love of my life
And the breath in my prayers
Take my hand, lead me there

I can't forget the taste of your mouth
From your lips the heavens pour out
I can't forget when we are one
With you alone I am free

Gosh, Louise, I'm getting really used to this morning updates!

Ellery needs to be with Colson a.s.a.p.!! He's really keeping it together under all this pressure isn't he? Organising Wayne's dinner, talking to Jeremy about the Amos case...

And Wayne is just.... well, Wayne I suppose. In a way that is comforting.  ;)

I guess the holiday will be put on hold with this awful news about Pam?  :-\ Poor girl...
