The word Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz no longer officially exists.

How sad. Such a useful word....  ::)

I'm sure that now there will be people who will try to use it just because.

So, it means "law for the delegation of monitoring beef labeling" and was created to describe the organization of monitoring for mad cow disease, but a different process is used now. Methinks the Germans secretly like their long complicated words.
