Grundstücksverkehrsgenehmigungszuständigkeitsübertragungsverordnung , also the name of a law. That one had 67 letters.
Back to the Rindfleischetikettierungs..... It's abbreviation was RkReÜAÜG M-V.
RkReÜAÜG M-V? ? ? Really? You call that horrid construction a shortcut? :o ::)

Of course the word itself still exists. But the law is gone and thus its name. So "officially" it doesn't exist anymore. But if you don't have other hobbies..... you're free to memorize longest words and entertain your peers with them. :laugh:

I often shake my head about such stuff. Just a couple of days ago I came across a word which was a compound of 5 or 6 words. ::)
But on the other side, they're often good for a laugh. Therefore I like the Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungs..... ;D 8)
