G'morning Brokies!

    I woke to the sound of Thunder and rain this morning.    That is always unusual.   Morning thunder that is.   Looks like a wet day today.   

Remember when you were a kid and it rained, so your mother always said: " Be sure to wear your rubbers today!"   LOL.

To kids or adults for that matter still wear rubbers over their shoes?   I haven't seen any in decades.    The shoe type that is.  LOL

They sell rubbers--the shoe type that is--at the Vermont Country Store. If you really want a pair, David!

45 degrees here and rainy. No thunder for us, though.

Mike Huckabee's son was arrested for trying to carry a loaded gun onto a plane.

says (of course) that he 'forgot' it was in there...

just me but if you can't remember where you left a loaded weapon laying around....maybe you shouldn't HAVE one??

Ask me where any one of our rifles are? and if they are loaded or not? I can tell you.

Don't keep a handgun. The only thing they are good for is to kill people. If we need to defend our property or selves, we have it covered with the shotgun. FEW things will stop you in your tracks as the sound of a shotgun being cocked! (and you don't have to worry about aiming exactly....just point in the general direction...)

I do, to protect good (and expensive) leather dress shoes. But it does seem to be getting more and more difficult to find them. Still, nothing beats a great pair of Totes!

Hey, Sheriff, congrats on 3900!  You'll be at 4000 in no time. 

Rubbers?  Too much trouble.  A friend of mine was actually walking around wearing baggies over her shoes during the last deluge.
