Morning all,Another nice day in Basel with sun and a pleasant temperature. My widget says 12 but I think it is warmer than that.I am still not sleeping well (jet lag is a bitch!) but I am going to take it easy today. I have a lecture at noon and then I am done so I think I might have a nice lunch and a NAP. Hopefully that will get me over the lingering sleep problems and weird dreams.I had a good day at the University yesterday and I am sure today will be the same!L

Before we moved here permanantly, we were back and forth several times sorting out various things. We found the best way to get over jetlag, flying from America to europe, was to go to bed for 3-4 hours when we arrived. Then get up have the rest of the day as normal and maybe go to bed slightly later than usual, but only slightly. That way your body clock has a few hours sleep at the time it is used to and you seem to get on track quicker that way. I did not find the problem so bad going the other way.So next time you fly to Europe try it.You miss a few hours of your trip, but feel much better for the rest of it.
Looks like it won't be long til Lee is Number Three!
Actually, that is what I did do. Arrived, had lunch and took a nap for a few hours. Usually that works just fine for me but I think I had enough anxiety about the work and so on (meeting lots of new people and not speaking the language) that it played havoc with my sleep anyway, even though I was on a "normal" schedule for going to bed. But I feel better this evening so I am hoping that I'll sleep like a log and be fit as a fiddle tomorrow!L
Are there not 4 languages there still ?
