Hi buds!  Just thought I'd look in from Alaska.  Been thinking a lot about Heath and my Brokie buds today.  :-*

Our opera is going well.  Beautiful cast.  Our rehearsal space has a spectacular 360 degree view of Anchorage and the surrounding mountain ranges.  We're using an empty floor in a new office building.  No carpet or furnishings, but there are floor to ceiling windows all around!  We can even see Denali to the north on clear days.  8)  8)  8)

I finally saw a moose today!  Even better, I didn't have to go looking; she was right outside the window of the house I'm staying in, just lying there in the snow passing the time.  I took some pictures, so you'll see them eventually.  8)

The temperature's in the low teens up here.  Brrr!  Hope all of you are warmer wherever you are.

Finally!


After weeks and weeks of endless icy weather, snow without end and every wintery mix possible - there is sun and warmth outside today! :D

Blue sky (not boneless, but who am I to fret?) and balmy 10°C (50°F). And the snow is gone! Yay!

It feels downright spring-y :D.

I'm now grabbing my kids and my dog, and off we go, into the fields, having a nice walk.

I'm sooo ready for spring!
