I'm glad the mac and cheese worked out, Chrissi!
John G. and I had dinner at a place on 43rd Street with diner food at fancy prices. The mac and cheese wasn't nearly up to speed. We're looking forward to getting some at Duke's on the 18th when Pete and David are here. However, my tuna melt was huge and good, and John had fish and chips that could have fed three people. The fish looked like someone had stuffed a knee sock and deep fried it. He ate the whole thing!
Afterwards we went to the movie theater on 42nd and watched the Met's "Die Walkure" in HD. Five and a half hours, but worth it! Great singing, and a great opera.
