I also remember a big ball with a handle on it. I'd sit on it and bounce around the basement! I forget what those things were called. Mine was blue I think.

It sure was! If the signal wasn't coming in very well, my parents would make me walk over and adjust the antenna for them. And if the signal suddenly improved while I was holding it, they would make me stand there with the antenna in my hand until the show ended.
I really hated that!
