old oprah interview with bbm cast

i just read the transcript from the oprah episode when she interviewed bbm cast.  i thought i'd pass this on.


oprah asks: "some people are upset at the movie for portraying a homosexual relationship.  how do jake and heath feel about such criticism?"

heath: "i still find it personally disappointing that people kind of go out of their way to voice their disgust or their opinions against the ways in which two people choose to love one another.  i think that's really unfortunate."

I checked that IheartJake.com still has the clip - and they do.

Go to that  site's Media/Talkshows section and scroll down a little. There it is. I haven't checked whether it's available on Youtube, but I would be surprised if it isn't.

However, I realized - personally, I can't watch it yet. Not yet.

I remember how thrilled I was to see it back in the day though, because Jake was filming Zodiac, so he wasn't around for much of the publicity and I think Oprah was the first chance we had in forever of actually seeing Heath and Jake together; - promoting the film. And they sure looked good and seemed to enjoy each other's company.

I never saw the Oprah show for this. He said it very well.
