They sure did.  I posted this over in the Jake thread in the new Heath forum... but it seems appropriate here too.

I always thought that Jake and Heath looked like they had a lot of fun together... and it also always looked like they were genuinely leaning on one another for support during more stressful interviews, situations, etc.  I think they just had boat-loads of natural chemistry together... which, I'm sure helped with conveying really strong emotions in BBM.  I mean, they really must have been truly close... I can't imagine Heath (and Michelle) naming Jake godfather to Matilda if they didn't genuinely have a strong bond.

Poor Jake.  I hope he's doing OK.
