 :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:  There's no accounting for taste!  I guess enough people liked it to have it hit the final chart.  FWIW, I do like some hip-hop, but I've never heard of that one!

Madonna Sets New Record



The Queen of Pop is now unequaled chart royalty. Madonna makes momentous Billboard chart history, as she now has the most No. 1s ever, 45, by an act on a singular Billboard chart. She earns her 45th No. 1 on Dance Club Songs, where "Ghosttown" lifts 3-1.

With the coronation, Madonna passes another icon, George Strait, who's logged 44 No. 1s on Hot Country Songs.

"Thanks to all my fans on and off the dancefloor," Madonna said in an exclusive statement to Billboard. "I'll (always) be your partner."

With her 45th leader on Dance Club Songs, which measures reports submitted by a national sample of club DJs, Madonna pulls further ahead of runners-up Beyonce and Rihanna. In fact, Madonna has tallied more No. 1s as they have combined: 22 each.

Madonna bests Strait (still, and always, the King of Country), who's sent 44 singles to No. 1 on Hot Country Songs between 1982 and 2009. He first reigned with "Fool Hearted Memory" (Aug. 28, 1982) and most recently ruled with "River of Love" (April 18, 2009).

Madonna is making waves with her new video.

In only three days, the video has a total of over 9 million views, and has been trending all over the web, due to the cameos in the video.   Recording artist Rita Ora, actor/comedian Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus, fashion designer Alexander Wang, producer Diplo, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, David Banda (Madonna's adopted son), Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, who also raps on the track.

The music is very much something that kids in the clubs would jam to, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.

Madonna sings Edith Piaf

Madonna's latest tour (Rebel Heart) opened in Canada, and she surprised her audience with a small speech about not giving up on love, and that was why she was going to sing "one of the greatest love songs ever written"

With Ukuele in hand, Madonna then started to sing Edith Piaf's "Le Vie En Rose".

Videos posted to YouTube have the internet buzzing over the fact that on her opening night, she admitted her French is not good, and she flubbed one of the lines, and grimaced.  However, the singing stopped when she made her error, proving Madonna sings live on her tours.  It also showed just how good her voice really is.

Here's a video from her second night of the tour, so the mistake mentioned above is not there.

Here is the video with the mistake, and the speech just before.  The person filming didn't have a very steady hand, so it's not as good as the video above.  The mistake comes in at 2:00 minute mark.
