Hi, Front-Ranger! First time I've seen this thread, so I haven't caught up on the whole thing. I'm just the opposite, don't care much about fashion and do wear whatever I like. I'm
also wearing a black shirt and black pants, socks and boots, and I guess I could leave the ,,,,
ahem... undergarment descriptions out of this... (
No, I can't! Black at top, spring green at bottom!) My shirt is a uniform shirt, since I just returned from work. It has a company logo in white, and has my lovely name tag below the logo. My name tag states that I am a 'Portrait Specialist', but that's stretching things a bit. I'm also wearing a wristband that is black leather and has what looks like a small metal belt buckle like the one Jack wore (with a horse on it). It also has two metal stars in circles, and the actual buckle side of it is the typical western metal-tipped belt and buckle. NOW.... here's my problem...
I am very happy to wear my black uniform since I only own black pants and black jackets to go with the shirts. TODAY at work we were issued
navy blue shirts and were told we have to wear
khaki pants with them! >shudder< On someone else, maybe... but me?!? NO-O-O!!!! I can't imagine putting my giant behind into a wide expanse of khaki, it would be blinding to all onlookers including myself. What to do?! Any advice? I managed to make it through all of our other colors of shirts, one color per year, (so far, black, burgundy and white, with my black pants. I don't want khaki pants!!!!
Hel-l-l-p!
