I want to move to Heidelberg. What a gorgeous place. Can't say why, but god i felt the most amazing pull towards it.

And here's the beautiful St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland and the oldest city in all North America, but often foggy as all hell!

Winter! :o The snow's not ALWAYS this bad but it has gotten this bad several times (I dunno who the woman is!):
And the wildlife here in NFLD is incredible and so easily accessible. I can leave my aparment and walk for 20-25 mins to downtown to the waterfront and see whales:
And I took this yesterday when my friend and I walked around a nearby pond and fed the birds:
Oh, and someone in town found a moose in their backyard this morning! It jumped right over the fence!
Anyway, lol, I'll stop!

You all are posting such lovely pictures, you're making me long for my home town of Canandaigua, New York. I just went looking for some nice photos, and lo and behold I found the yacht club (it's really just a sailing club and not that snobby) where my husband and I had our wedding reception and where I spent many summer Friday nights with my parents eating dinner:

# 1 is my High School...yep!! its still standing after ALL these years...my mom was in teh first graduation class back in the 30's..i graduated in 1964...STOP COUNTING!!!
