The Dark Knight - no spoilers please
BelAir:
No spoilers in this thread, please. There is a "Spoilers welcome" thread on The Dark Knight in the Heath Remembrance forum here.
(reviews, etc., that don't give away plot details are certainly fine here)
There are some threads about The Dark Knight over in the Rembrance Forum, but I thought it might be nice to have one here too, so the movie details could be discussed by those interested, without interfering with the discussion of more personal feelings/reactions about the movie in relation to Heath's death.

Ledger Tribute Planned For Premiere

The premiere of Heath Ledger's final complete film will be dedicated to the actor - and his family will be the special guests at the event.
The actor's family will make the trip from Australia back to New York, the city where the star died from an accidental overdose in January, for the screening of Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight on 14 July.
Christopher Nolan, the film's director, has also created a memoriam to the actor, which will be shown at the end of the movie.
Brown Eyes:
This is a good idea for a Culture Tent thread BelAir. :)
It's really nice to hear that the premiere will focus a lot on memorial efforts for Heath. It certainly sounds like an appropriate way to handle the premiere, which I'm sure will be an extremely bittersweet event... and definitely different from typical premieres.
I'll be interested to hear more about how it all goes. And, I'd be really fascinated to see the memorium that Nolan made too.

I agree, good idea.My sons and husband are going to see it. I don't think I will though.A bit too raw at the moment.

"I knew five seconds later exactly how to play it."
