Um, well ... close. Only two years off. You would have been right except that ... I hate to admit this, but ... I did the arithmetic wrong!

The way I figured it was, Ennis and Jack were 19 in 1963. I was thinking I turned seven in 1963 because, well, I was born in 1957, and 63 minus 57 makes seve -- er, uh ... well ... six. Also, my birthday hasn't occurred yet this year, so actually in June of '63 I would have only been five.

So oops, I guess I'm actually 14 years younger than J & E.

And here I thought I was being so dang clever!! What can I say, it's been a while since I took a math class ... ??!
