It's So Cold Outside...

(1/2) > >>

David In Indy:
It's so cold outside even the penguins are wearing winter coats.

It's so cold outside when I tried to light a fire the flame froze.

It's so cold outside people are driving to northern Canada to get warm.

It's so cold outside when I said hi to my neighbor he never heard me because the soundwaves froze.

It's so cold outside the icicles are even shivering.

It's so cold outside my dog spoke English and asked to be toilet trained.

David In Indy:
Anybody else have some?

optom3:
When it is very cold in England we say, it's brass monkey weather.
One Bettermostian knows the naval origins of that phrase, I cannot recall it or the resident.  Maybe someone will remember, I know it is an amusing explanation.

Katie77:
That was Kerry, Fiona who sent in an explanation of how that saying "Brass monkeys" came about.

I remember one time, going to a kids football match, and it was fairly cold by our standards.....and someone said.....

"Mate its cold......aint never gonna believe that hell is hot".......

I've heard people around here say it's colder than brass monkey balls.

:-\ :-\

I'm not sure what that means exactly. But lots of things come to mind...
