Kelda:
I love how cats do that bite each other thing!

Here's his selection du jour.

Somehow I overlooked this one until now. What a great shot.
Tache and Poof are very cute together. I like Poof's black feet. My cat has the same and I sometimes call him little blackfoot.
Sheriff Roland:
I get to pet Poof now. When I approach him the right way, that is.
I have to offer up my open hand and he might sniff, or lick, or paw my fingers and then I might be allowed to rub under his chin or on his chest. He still edges back when my hand approaches, standing on his hind legs. Never two hands though ... that would be too threatening.
I have touched him on the side of the body with an unmoving hand while he squeezes by on his way to his food. And I have even semi-petted him on the back while he was eating ... when he's been really hungry.
He's observed my relationship with Tache, where I can pet him anytime, or pick him up. I've even raised my voice with Tache when I thought he was playing too roughly - with Anthony.
In the past 48 hours a LOT of progress has been achieved, I think. Petted his back repeatedly or rubbed his head. And he's liked it. His purring is louder.
Yesterday I took my courage in hand and actually picked him up! And petted him on the head and on the back with my other hand. Not for long. mind you - just a few seconds - but he let me! Did it again this morning - though he didn't like being placed on my lap.
And the front door still needs to remain ajar, even if only 10 cm.
Baby steps - still
Kelda:
purring is a good sign..
Brown Eyes:
Yes, sounds like lots of good progress! :D
