Rob's Ranch for Raconteurs

underdown:

Thanks for your wishes, folks. No drama with the shoulder and elbow. I finished up not having the operation on the tendon, and everything seems to work well enough, now. Just a bit of loss of strength, but nothing significant. The physio has been really helpful, and building up slowly with exercise is repairing the damage.

Spring is nearly sprung, here, with lots of wildflowers starting to bloom. Will take and post some pics, soon.

I know I haven't been around much, lately, but thinking of everyone.  :)

Mandy21:
We're glad you're back, Rob.  All of us a bit sad and lost, but surviving just the same.

Friends seem to mean more than anything right now.

CellarDweller:
Hiya Rob!

I'm glad to see you here!  Hope you stop by more often!  ;D

I was thinking about folks today, and how, sometimes, life seems to be rather up-hill a lot of the time.

Then I had another thought....
Most folks believe that the world is round. A few think that it is flat.
I know it is round, but sometimes can't help wishing it were flat.  :)

But, if the world were flat, I guess we'd get less exercise, and finish up being weak.
And if we never experienced sadness, our spirits would wither away.

I've never heard it said that way before.  I remember hearing something like "To fully understand joy, you have to experience sadness."
