I feel sorry for her in the way she's wasted herself, being kept, waiting for an aged libertine to decide he wants to marry her.
Waiting for scraps like a dog waiting for her master to throw her a bone.
Pathetic.

If she considers a Starbucks and a Manolo Blahnik shoe store to be "modernization," maybe there wasn't much there to waste. 8)
She's not getting any sympathy from me. It's not like they were keeping her a prisoner in Monaco.
Jeff Wrangler:
On the NBC news last evening, a correspondent was reporting on Will and Kate's visit to California. The correspondent had occasion to refer to Will's great-grandmother, who was, of course, the late and much-loved Queen Elizabeth "the Queen Mum," the wife of King George VI and the mother of the current sovereign. Anyway, the correspondent referred to the late Queen Mum as "Queen Elizabeth the First."

Elizabeth Tudor would NOT be amused. ;D

Did the (irony, here) 'anchor' correct the (heavy irony here) 'correspondent'? :P :P
