"Trailer Music"
« on: November 07, 2006, 05:34:28 pm »
I was watching the trailer for BBM over the weekend and thought, once again, how beautiful the music was and how it is not on the sound track, not have I seen it identified anywhere. Does anyone know the name of this piece and where I might obtain it? I know this has probably been discussed before, but I just can't keep up.

I believe it's from "Shawshank Redemption".

Yeah, I found it. On top of the tv where it has been for ten years, your right Eric, it is the glorious "End Titles" to be found as #20 on the sound track cd.

Now, watching that movie again after about 7 years I was amazed at how it still moved me. Just two guys being decent to one another in a tight spot. It got a lot of people talking at the time too.

And did I subconsciously respond to that forgotton glorious piece way out in the kitchen about a year ago? Drag my ass out to see to see the name Heath Ledger followed by Jake Gyllenhaal and then Brokeback Mountain?

I said then and there: "I will see this movie".
