This year, I have lots of leftover bread and fruit. I've decided to make meat loaf with the bread crumbs and salsa, chutney and marmalade with the fruit.
Rummaging around in my freezer, I found some top sirloin. I'll use an old-fashioned meat grinder to grind and mix it up with onions, veggies and the bread. Instead of a run-of-the-mill meat loaf, I'll add bulgar wheat and spices to make kibbeh, the national dish of Lebanon.
