Considerate?  Well, sure, he did say he hadn't shovelled show in over ten years!

Oh, nice thread.

I'd love to hear how all those evenings turned out.  Natali, what did you bring to your potluck?  Shasta, how about you?  To tell you the truth, because I've been kind of underslept lately, we didn't do much to acknowledge the new year last night.  Today, we went out for pho.  So I love living your adventures vicariously.

Mr. Meno and I had a phase of about 7 years when we had an open house on New Year's afternoon.  Those were fun, but haven't had one since Mini-Meno was born.  These days, I do most of my drinkin and talkin and all between the hours of 10am and 3pm, often at playgrounds.

I am really grateful for where I am in life, and also happy to read about different kinds of adventures that other people are on.
