You may have been a Ken and Barbie dresser-upper, but I never had the opportunity!!!   ;)

(Passes whisky bottle with wicked wink) Well we'll have to do something about that!

PS I didn't either - I have a feeling that Barbie hadn't been invented yet!

Just a further thought about Nick and sex. Remember how Nick felt that falling in love with Jeremy recalled for him his "first time" with a boy. Maybe that was the reason he kept going after inexperienced men - because it replicated in some way that "first time".

That is hard to say.   Sometimes a guy who starts off as the pursued ends up the pursuer and vice versa.

Alot of times a guy will shift his behavior as time passes and he is aware of his inward sexual needs.

Much like Jeremy.   As a straight man, you just naturally assume that you are supposed to be in the "tops" role.   Often afterwards it turns out they are bottoms.

The lines between Dominant and submissive,  introvert and extrovert, top and bottoms are not clear and defined.     Although usually the top is the dominant one.  He may not be the extrovert however.

Well, that would certainly describe Ennis, wouldn't it?

Very much so.   Although Ennis is growing sexually and allowing himself to relax and enjoy being a bottom at times.    This shift is usually caused when the two partners are in love and want to offer themselves to the other fully.

Ennis:  Top (mostly) Dominant but introverted.

Ellery:  Bottom (mostly)  Submissive but extroverted.

Jeremy:    Bottom ,  Submissive but more or less introverted.

Nick:   Versatile,  extroverted and while not Dominant, he is best described as a "pushy bottom".   A very complex character indeed.   Not unlike alot of real world guys.

*Pushy Bottom.  Gay term for aggressive guys who are bottoms.  Can still be very submissive.

“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

3 chapters to catch up on!  Cheers Ms L!  ;)

I am happy to hear about a Jeeves story coming later!
I am really excited about Ellery's POV of meeting Ennis coming up after Dupree's Choice!
Can't wait!
