Woke up this morning thinking of Ennis describing the end of his bronco rodeoing career: "And there I was. . .flying through the air." Ennis was earth-bound, a mammal, while Jack was air-bound, an eagle or other bird. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2005/12/12/new-frontiers
