Several layers to it, and you are explouring those.  Dr. Reynoldo's house may be a save haven for now, but I don't think it is where they should be forever.  They need to go back into their world, and confront those who tried to kill Jack, and confront LD and Lureen, and try to explain things to Bobby and Jack's parents.  Then, they both can truly heal, and seek the right place to live their sweet life together.

Thanks for the story.  I look forward to your updates.

Thank you. Blindness is more than physical in the story--it's the love they share in all its complexity. And yes, I do feel they can not reach it by staying with the kind Doctor. He will be a source of healing, but more importantly a resource for Jack and Ennis to understand the world of the blind.

I've thought a lot about the vet and how he will continue in the story. He's got wisdom and an extra room for now that they can glean from.

Thanks for reading and thoughtful comment and analysis.

Hey, Chapter 12 is now up and ready to be read.

I backed off on the sex/bronco riding metaphor. It started taking over that whole exchange between the two. I went back and changed part of it. I have a tendency to trip over the edge sometimes. Let me know what you think…

this link also is to other chapters too...
