The Full Moon

<< < (4/5) > >>

Front-Ranger:
THey don't exactly coincide, but very close. The equinox is this evening (in the Eastern US time zone) and the full moon is tomorrow morning.

Powerful magic? Apparently you can balance an egg on its end during this time!! Might be a good time to try some experiments!!

--- Quote from: Front-Ranger on September 22, 2010, 05:08:13 am ---I really like the fact that the full moon is the same all over the world no matter what season it is. The sun blazes or wanes and changes the state of affairs on the earth, but the moon's effect is more subtle...and it affects everything all over the earth.

Me too!

I love the moon, esp the full moon.

Sadly, I've never been able to take any good pictures of it, probably I need a better camera to do it.

The Equinox approacheth!!

Lynne:
The full moon was beautiful last night from a balcony in the South End, wispy clouds floating by - a very "Brokeback Moon".

No planets were visible either because of clouds or lights. We observed that the boys would have been off the Mountain already separated a full month.

Later on there were some sprinkles, but they didn't dampen the company or conversation.

Sounds heavenly!! Did you talk of dogs you had owned, the draft, or anything involved with threshing?
