I'm sure there are folks out there wonderin when the special du jour was gonna be posted (sorry fer the delay...). Today you can choose ta order:

Grandma's Meatloaf
served with taters, fresh slices a cucumber, tamato, sweet pepper and cauliflower
and, of course, the house specialty, bean salad

Bon appétit

Surf and Turf is common in Oz too.  It's usually a piece of steak with a variety of fish pieces, prawns, calamari, oysters and scallops (not all of them at once though).  And it's usually the most expensive thing on the menu!

BLT here stands for beetroot, lettuce and tomato.

beetroot??! Are you all insane? I can see subbing the lettuce or tomatos....but the BACON?? jeez!

Hi de ho!

been out readin some limericks. This guy "lachlan" posted a whole limerick on the game (not protocol) but a good one:

Del Mar, in his youth, had missed
The opportunity to sin or be kissed
Til, neglecting his sheep,
He got pissed before sleep
Then awoke with his tail in a Twist.

Lachlan

Went on ta read his "previous posts", startin with his very first

Was well worth it - find some time ta read the first 2 or 3
