Was waiting for the video - guess it ain't comin ...

Most of Timmins' houses are covered in panel siding, like the side of the garage here. So, none of the brick house richness  you see 'round Toronto (or for that matter, those 'cottage' pics I posted last winter in the My Great White North Thread)

Howdy folks...still settling back in from Colorado...wonderful time surely, but a contradiction - the air is so thin, you feel like the vast open space is smothering you, but it seems so fresh and pure, you have to breathe as deeply as you can.  Just lovely.

I'm just popping in to say I *love* the Japanese garden, Ro.  I visited one in Portland, OR once and it was amazing...so much tranquility, peace, harmony.  And that's right in your backyard, correct?

Awright, well I'm gonna go out & mow the lawn in the back yard.

I prefer cuttin the lawn before a rain - grows back good & thicker (fewer weeds)

Be doin the front yard later this evenin.

BTW, Jess ... Bryan called ... said he's feelin better today than he's felt fer a week - not quite over what ailed him (and Evan, who became sick before Bryan, is still down for the count!  :( )

Plans are afoot ta have Pitou arrive here in TO this coming Friday evenin ...
