Jeff and D met Brent and Todd a few months ago at the bookstore...(which is apparently a local hot spot!!  who knew??)  anyway....Todd is a brat...brat! came over and was giving D a hard time and trying to get Jeff to...um....you know...

anyway, BRENT is a sweetheart....very girlish though....and very shy.

Colt is the one we just met a couple of weeks ago...remember I told you about him?

anyway, they went on a double date with Jeff and D the other night...

I'm 18 days away from my Alberta pilgramage.

It was so cool last night, I almost put a blanket on the bed and only had 3 windows open in the house ... some a the advantages a living in the great white north. (12C right now - gonna be no higher than 26C all week!)

Speaking of which, I'm sure y'all saw the banner. My garden blog in 'our daily thoughts' is being promoted today. It's full a pics taken from my garden (unless otherwise noted). Come & relax, since, as Janice said, "your garden is food for the soul."

Bryan oughta be over ta rework the garden (mostly iris area, I think - gonna take some over to his friends). I'm also hoping he'll be tearing up the first row flowerbed nearest the sidewalk - will allow me to start putting up the borders.

Well he did say he was gonna spend the whole day

And he works for food - usually bacon & eggs (and 7up) however, when he stays longer like this, he also likes some portuguese chicken - however, they close on Mondays (Canada Day notwithstanding). I do have a couple a pieces a chicken leftover from Saturday though
