Lords of Dogtown-I made a mistake!
Ellemeno:
I liked Lords of Dogtown, which I rented right before we Seven Pilgrims went to the Santa Monica BBM screening of Ang-lessFest. It takes place in that part of California, so I thought I would get a taste of that, plus Heath.
I also noticed the times he said a couple of Ennislike "hunh"s. Other than that, he was not the same person at all. just like with Ennis though, one of my favorite scenes in the film is his last, where he hardly talks at all, but goes through a kaleidoscope of feelings while working on a surfboard and drinking. Just in his face and movements, you can see the various emotions that run through him about the situation. What a guy.

well, the whole thing with setting a medieval/renaissance period film with rock music is rather contrive. either you bought the gimmick or you don't. For me that was my first Heath experience, and I really sat through it just because of him, I think.
