Meryl:
That's a nice surprise.  I had assumed Disney would be intolerant because of its family image, but I'm glad to find out I was wrong.  8)

Lynne:
Thanks for posting that, Del!  I'm impressed and also a little bit surprised - pleasantly, of course!

"We believe this change is consistent with Disney's long-standing policy of welcoming every guest in an inclusive environment," Disney Parks and Resorts spokesman Donn Walker said Friday. "We want everyone who comes to celebrate a special occasion at Disney to feel welcome and respected."

We should look for some contact info and send them some positive feedback, I think.  I betcha the Southern Baptists will renew their boycott post-haste...

Here's where we should write - or maybe send a postcard - I think:

The Walt Disney Company
Attention:  Bob Iger, President and CEO
500 S. Buena Vista St.
Burbank, CA 91521-9722

Phone: 818-560-1000
Fax: 818-560-1930

BTW, I also found that the Walt Disney Company gets high marks from the HRC as an employer:

Ellemeno:
Very $mart of them.
