I got myself a copy of Hamley's saddle catalogue!

All-in-all it was a wonderful day!

J.W.

Hamley's saddle catalogue - wow, great idea  :D. Bring it to the BBQ, will ya?
Glad to read that you had such a wonderful day yesterday. Since your birthday is today, I hope it will be just as nice and enjoyable.

Happy birthday, Jeff! Enjoy yourself!

Fortunately, that does not look like me after last night. ...

Thanks again, everyone! A lovely day in Philadelphia, a little cool for May, but that's all right. Since I treated myself to the trip to New York yesterday, I get to spend my actual birthday playing ketchup--that is, catching up with the stuff I didn't do yesterday.

I was sorta pullin' all your legs about the Hamley's catalogue. What I bought is actually a facsimile reprint of the 1942 catalogue, so it's a little older than Ennis and Jack, and no good for buying stuff today. Interesting in what it contains, though--lots more than just saddles, including Justin boots--my preferred brand--and Stetson hats. Apparently, however, the Hamley company is still in existence, located in Pendelton, Oregon.

Thank you Heath and Jake for showing us Ennis and Jack,  teaching us how much they loved one another.
