Donnie Darko aired on Swedish television last night...and damn! I´d forgotten how good Jake looks in it.
I had a great time watching it, it has a great script and the weirdness of the entire movie always blows me away.
You never know quite what to expect. I liked it even more now that the first time I watched it.

Jake will appere at the premiere of prince of Persia next weekend, the may of 9, at Vue westfield, atrium, London . Seems like Disney is putting on the biggest premiere ever shown in London,its gonna be a live entertainment show directly connected with 20 different cinemas in the UK and Mexico, germany and Italy. Australia will be the first country to see the movie and so forth with Asia and Europe..

I've read the first PoP review. Pretty ho-hum.

Well, I think PoP has to be taken for what it is... Nobody expects this to be great cinema or fine filmmaking.  I think it's probably best to just approach it as fun/ fluffy entertainment (and really nothing more).  For Jake's sake, I hope it does well.  It's nice to see that the premiere is meant to be a big deal.

Are there Brokie events scheduled around any of the openings?  I've been a bit out of the loop recently.

I went to see "City Island" the other day (cute film), and it turned out to be in the same cinema and auditorium where I saw Brokeback the very first time.  What should I see as I came out of the film but a life-size free-standing poster of Jake as PoP.  Some places on this earth will forever be watched over now by the spirits of Jack and Ennis.
