I got this pic in an e-mail. (I guess I'm cynical--I always check "Snopes".)

This one was true according to Snopes. Here is the story about it:

I like what it said (on my e-mail) at the end of the story: "This is a real story that shows that our differences don't matter much when we need the comfort of another. Awww. That poor baby hippopotamus! He was swept away from his mother and then he was carried out into the ocean by the tsunami.  :'(

I'm glad he found a mother in the tortoise. It said the turtle hiss at him during the beginning, but they are very good friends now. Thanks for sharing that story Shasta!  :D
