Not long ago I told my son about someone at work who treated us all to breakfast at her birthday.

He said, "What? She treated you to breakfast on her birthday?? It should be the other way around!!"

I answered him, "That's the difference between being a child and an adult. When you're an adult, it means you treat people on your birthday."

Hello Bettermost friends!





Well, greetings from a very wet NJ!   ;D

It's been a long time since we've had rain, and I've been watching water levels drop in lakes, rivers and such here.  It started raining Saturday evening, rained all day yesterday, and is still raining today.

I think this should be more than a drop in the bucket, but I don't think it will bring us back to 100% yet.  However, it is supposed to rain on and off until Thursday, so that should really help.

Weekend was a good one, Friday night dinner out, Saturday dinner out and then to see a college production of "Hairspray", which was a lot of fun.

Sunday was my day of rest.   :laugh:

Grey skies have cleared up over here, and now we have blue skies and sun.  Rain is supposed to come back later this week, which is just fine.  I'm sure water levels are waaaaaaaaaay below what they should be, the all-day rain we got on Sunday may have helped, but it didn't completely solve the problem.

Right here the whole time, Chuck.  Just keeping it on the down-low lately.

Life is treating me very well, spring is all around, the birds are singing, and I am almost disgustingly happy these days.

Did you wrap up your bowling season, or does it continue through the summer?
Are you enjoying your fancy computer?
When's your next trip coming up?
Did your workload return to normal this week?
Have you spent your tax refund yet?
