Nobody said they had to be cowboy sayings:

Brevity is the soul of wit

Necessity is the mother oif invention..

I may not always be right, but I'm never wroing.

"It's all so beautuiful, I'd like to sock somebody in the jaw."

":..a rosy dot over the "i" in loving..."

Bad news is best not postponed.

"It runs in the family"

We are such stuff as dreams are made on,
and our little world is rounded with a sleep.

"What's the use of wondrin
if he's good or if he's bad
or if you like the way he wears his hat?
what's the use of wondrin
if he's good or if he's bad:
he's yotr feller and ya love him,
that's all there is to that.

Common sense may tell you
that the ending will be bad
and now's the time to break aned run away,
but what's the use of wondren
if the eending will be bad:
he's your felker and ya love him:
there's nothing more to say.
i
Something
made him the way that he is
whether he's false or true.
And something
gave him the things that are his:
one oif those things is you.

So if he wants your kisses
you'll give them to the lad
and anywhere he leads you you will walk
and any time he needs you
you'll go runnin' there like mad:
he's your feller and yoiu love him
and all the rest is talk."

"It's still the same old story,a fight foir love and glory.
a case of do or die:
The workd will always welcome lovers
As time goes by.

"We're each of us alone, to be sure. What can you do but hold your hand out in the dark?" --"Nine Lives," by Ursula K. Le Guin, from The Wind's Twelve Quarters

Nobody said they didn't have to be cowboy sayings, neither; but, I matched at least one of them, didn't I?

Quote
Goin' 'round the coffee pot lookin' fer th' handle would 'bout cover th' extent o' his travels.

Quote
(Ennis in the book and the movie) "Mexico? Jack, you know me. All the travelin I ever done is goin around the coffeepot lookin for the handle."

A Cowboy's Guide to Life
1. Don't squat with your spurs on.

2. Don't interfere with something that ain't bothering you none.

3. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

4. Always drink upstream from the herd.

5. Telling a man to git and making him do it are two entirely different propositions.

6. When you give a personal lesson in meanness to a critter or to a person don't be surprised if they learn their lesson.

7. If you're riding ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it's still back there.

8. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back in your pocket.

9. If you get to thinking you're a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else's dog around.

10. And never, ever, miss a good opportunity to shut up.

Haha, I got this in an e-mail forward awhile back. It's pretty cute.
...then you ask me about Mexico and tell me you'll kill me for needing somethin' I don't hardly never get.

If I hear a bloke saying, "I'm goin fishin with my mate".......cant help wondering, "is he really going fishin???????
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

When I read the title I first thought of "You bet!" How about some more sayings that are actually in the movie?
