** Trying to keep herself busy by baking cookies.

%% I need to get out of this apartment! It's been awhile since Ennis left. Sure wish I knew if he is coming back or not! I know! I am gonna take some of these cookies over to Monroe's house. It's not too far and the walk today will do me good! Besides I really do wanna see him, and the store is closed today.

**Alma hesitates

%% What if he just thinks I'm too bold? What if he has company? What if he's not there! I know... Ill just walk by it, if he see's me I'll just tell him I was just in the neighborhood. %%

((Alma packs up some cookies real pretty))

%% but what shall I wear? I need something real pretty! I don't have anything! Uhm? Lets see.. What would Scarlet do? I have an idea!!

** After the babysitter came Alma heads on over to Monroe's house. She notices the car is in the driveway and pauses.

((Mounts the stair up to the apartment door))

((Knocks on the door timidly))

Alma, are you there? Hello?

((Knocks once more, not so timidly anymore))

((Bangs on door))

((Knocks on Monroe's door. No answer, keeps knocking))

Monroe! Hello! Are you there? Hello! It's Alma, I need to talk to you! Monroe!?

(( Alma turns the knob and the the door opens))

%% I wonder where he could be? His cars out front so he can't be too far. I'll just drop the cookies off anyways!

(( Alma goes into the house))

MONROE!!

(( Alma walks into the living room and notices all the pictures on the wall))

Oh good pictures! I love pictures! I should'nt be doing this but...

Despondently gives up banging on the door and treads the steps back down, draggin his feet all the way.

((Sits down on the bottom step, leaning head in hand))

** This is a strange place....there are strong vibes here that set my whole body and soul a-hummin'. I wonder why? Did something powerful happen here? I wonder if Alma's ever noticed? **

((Decides to rest there, and wait a spell, just in case))
