I remember that character on "Frasier" -- but I didn't recognize him. He's good. That scene--when he asked her son's name--made me cry. This is an extremely sad story.

reading some of the comments on the Youtube videos of the preview? there are a lot of young men that are talking about feeling like Bobby...we should invite them here to Bettermost.

I'm sure there are a lot of men in general who are feeling like Bobby. The struggle for some is so very great and overcoming. For many the time has not changed since the time of Ennis and Jack.

Bobby began his  struggle with being gay in 1979 and took his life four years later in 1983

Oh, it was in 1983 Jack? For some reason I was thinking he died in the late 80s. Thanks for clearing that up for us! :D

I found that on a website so it may not be accurate, but we both found 1979 as the beginning of his struggle although we all know he was probably struggling with it as far back as he could remember.

Looking at your comments, I'm not sure I can watch this. I will try, though.

I wonder if the parents stayed married? They aren't getting along too well right now.

Hey, Lee, you can do it.

Sigourney Weaver is amazing.  That was very true.
