These pictures are so cool. Makes me realize what I'm missin' living in Texas! We have very few individually owned theaters, mostly megaplexes with a listing of 20 movies on the outside marquee.
...then you ask me about Mexico and tell me you'll kill me for needing somethin' I don't hardly never get.

Ok, went to the theatre today for my 38th viewing.  Even though I have my DVD's, both widescreen and fullscreen, there's just nothing like smartenin' up and heading out to the theatres for BBM.  It's still showing at the Opera Plaza Cinemas in San Francisco.  This is where all art house films go at the end of their run...as you can see.

And here's poster row right next to the box office.  Saw the 5:15pm show today.  There were about 10 people in the theatre.  8)

I had uncontrollable fits of sobbing.  I don't know, maybe after 38 theatre viewings it finally all poured out.  I had to go into the restroom after the movie and stand in a stall for 20 minutes and just cry my eyes out.  BBM got me good!

:o  There must be some really awesome theatres in CA!  None of the theatres in my location look like that - we have multi-plexes and huge, small-town renovated theatres.  Most of the theaters in these parts look like this and this.   :)

I didn't take any pictures at the multi-plexes I went to - one reason being I don't have a camera phone!
Love.  You have a problem with it?

Here is the RED VIC MOVIE HOUSE on 5/13/06.  Many local members of Bettermost & Dave Cullen attended the 7pm show here.  :)

Wait 'til we post pictures of the CASTRO theatre next month!  ;D  ;)

Wow!  What a great record of Brokeback's run, I wish there was more.  We hardly have any signs out in Australia any more, they've all gone electronic, and mostly inside the box office rather than on the street.
