I'm seeing all these serious soundtracks......and now here's mine.

Saturday Night Fever
Flashdance
Footloose
Dirty Dancing
54

oh, and Brokeback, of course!

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Of course, there's Local Hero....the soundtrack made more $ than the movie did! Soundtrack by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits fame.

A few of my favorites are, and in no particular order:

A Man and a Woman (1 and 2)
Blue Crush
Marie Antoinette
Superfly (yeah, I know!  ;D)
O Brother, Where art Thou?
Trouble Man (I love that 70s old school jazz)
Scrooge (The musical)
Jesus Christ Superstar
Purple Rain
Garden State
The Fighting Temptations
Star Wars (all of them)
The Lord of the Rings (all)

So many excellent soundtracks here! I second friend Toast's nomination of The Motorcycle Diaries also by Gustavo Santaolalia. One time I renamed the songs from scenes from Brokeback Mountain, and now they have become a second soundtrack on my ipod!!

New soundtracks I love are the ones from Slumdog Millionaire  and 127 Hours, both by A.R. Rahman. They also have good music to work out to!
