I am always showing up late to these birthday threads, but for what it's worth, let me join everyone else in wishing you the very best, Luigi! I hope your birthday anniversary was a good one, and that Sardinian sunshine sounds gorgeous (we're having a very rainy summer so far).

Mille grazie friends!
Grazie for the lovely cannoli siciliani - they were great! - and the minicake. Grazie for the lovely butterfly. Grazie for the images of Monte Nerone. Grazie for the singing and swinging ETs, and above all heartfelt grazie for your greetings.
I'm sending some Sardinian sunshine - today here it was a glorious day, warm, balmy, and with a blue sky in which I could easily drown in, just like Jack - to wherever you are, be it Belgium, Colorado or Texas.
Let's enjoy these few hours off before monday takes us over once more: running like hell to wherever life calls...
Buona domenica!
Luigi

Fellow Cancerian, my birthday is coming up on the 17th, and I would love it if you could return with a few lovely Italian words thereabouts...That would be even better than any present! The place is here:

Happy birthday to our friend luigival, one of the long-time Tremblayans from the sunny shores of the Italian islands! Luigi was travelling on the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. in June, and I hope he makes it here soon to give a report of his travels. Godspeed to you, friend, and we'll raise a toast ... a toasted waffle cone, that is...to you at Luigi's gelato shop in Denver!!

Dear Lee and Artiste!
You knew I was going to quickly drop by on the occasion of my upcoming Birthday. Wow: time really flies and I'm apparently growing into a mature man (48 now)... Should I be wiser than I used to be or is that just mere illusion?
Not many questions though, and let's try to live in the best possible way, picking up the cherries we like the most!
Yes Lee, I had a great three days escapade around Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard at the end of a four days business trip to Boston, and greatly enjoyed the calm New England's early summer environment.
Too bad I caught a bad American flu on the way back, and spent most of my last week with fever and cough...
I toast as well with a symbolic gelato at Luigi's Gelato place in Denver, which I now consider to be truly my place, offering to everybody scoops galore of stracciatella, pistacchio and tiramisu.

Thank you so much friends,

Luigi
